- To fit a fixed size such as 1920 x 1080 without distortion, choose Fill and trim edges or crop to 16:9 first.
- Use JPG or WebP for photos and PNG for logos, screenshots and transparency.
- Rotate or flip first, then crop, then resize for the cleanest workflow.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this image resizer free?
Yes. It is completely free, with no signup, no watermark and no daily limit.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. All resizing and cropping happens inside your browser and your image is never sent anywhere or stored. Blogger or other analytics services on this site may collect general visit data separately, as described in our Privacy Policy.
How do I resize an image to an exact size in pixels?
Type the width and height in the Resize tab, untick Keep aspect ratio if the shape should change, choose a resize style and click Generate Image.
Will resizing reduce the quality?
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Making it larger cannot add detail, so very large enlargements may look soft.
What is the difference between Stretch, Fill and Fit?
Stretch forces the exact size and can distort the picture. Fill covers the whole size and trims the extra edges. Fit shows the whole picture inside the size and adds background bars.
Can I keep a transparent background?
Yes. Choose PNG or WebP and tick Transparent background. JPG does not support transparency, so it uses your chosen background color.
What is the largest output size?
Up to 10,000 pixels per side and 64 megapixels in total, depending on your device memory.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. You can crop by touch on phones and tablets. If a very large image fails to process, try a smaller output size.
